Where FieldEdge is the better pick.
Our honest takeIf your books live in QuickBooks Desktop and you need warehouse inventory, FieldEdge fits. If you're on QuickBooks Online and want a modern app with AI and no annual term, Tandem is the better fit.

Does FieldEdge require a contract?
FieldEdge sells annual memberships, and its pricing page says downgrades take effect at the end of the contract. Tandem has no contract: pay monthly or yearly and cancel any time.
Does Tandem work with QuickBooks Desktop?
No, Tandem syncs with QuickBooks Online: customers, invoices, payments, refunds and later changes. If you need QuickBooks Desktop, FieldEdge supports it.
Can I bring my data over from FieldEdge?
Yes, on every plan. Export your customers, price book and history from FieldEdge as CSV or Excel files and import them under Settings → Import. You see every row before anything is saved, customers you already have are caught, and nothing is sent to your customers.

Can I try Tandem before I leave FieldEdge?
Yes. The free trial is 14 days with everything in the plan you pick, and you don't need a card to start. Run both side by side, then subscribe when you're ready; there's no contract and you can cancel any time.
